Fìkh Wěl Qokhkì (/wɛl/ /ˈqoxkɨ/ [huge] [pain; wound]) is a subtropical Large Town located in Kw-48xojĭtul Zone, Wv-0săbb District, within the Federation of Alveria.

The name Fìkh Wěl Qokhkì is derived from the Constructi language, as Fìkh Wěl Qokhkì was founded by Trê Brgfesm, who was culturaly Constructi.

Climate

Fìkh Wěl Qokhkì has a yearly average temperature of 29°C (84°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a hot 33°C (91°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a warm 26°C (78°F). Fìkh Wěl Qokhkì receives an average of 84 cm/y (33 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the spring. Fìkh Wěl Qokhkì covers an area of nearly 6 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 14786 m (5560 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Fìkh Wěl Qokhkì was founded durring the early 16th century in winter of the year 1526, by Trê Brgfesm. The establishment of Fìkh Wěl Qokhkì was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Fìkh Wěl Qokhkì's construction back out of the project. Trê Brgfesm pushed on reguardles, and Fìkh Wěl Qokhkì was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Fìkh Wěl Qokhkì was built using the conventions of Constructi durring the early 16th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Fìkh Wěl Qokhkì is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature delicute timber framework hidden behind layer upon layer of finly ground plaster bleached to an almost glossy white sheen, with green clay tiled roofs and decorative brass-leafed trim. Even the smallest, poorest looking structures appear to be expencive thanks to the extreem elegence of the organic shapes and paterns going into their lofty, spire-y, vagly gothic designs. The more well off folks live in identicle homes, save for even shiner trim and a more whimsical appearance to their structures flowing forms.

Fìkh Wěl Qokhkì is was constructed arround several restrictive flagstone mainstreets which cross one another at certain axies, with smaller streets branching off of them to premit acess to the many buildings deeper into the road network. The overall fashion is remenessent of a circulatory system, or other organic construct, and is quite effishent in its design. The town rests behind the absurdity that is a thick, timber braced, wall made of clay bricks. While visualy impressive and certainly an astetic, Fìkh Wěl Qokhkì's wall provides no actual defence against siege equipment due to the choice of its cosntruction materials. Even nonexperts can tell the town is trying to impress rather than defend with its walls, towers, and gatehouses. Though admittedly, they do look nice... To primitive tribals who have never seen fortifications before. Fìkh Wěl Qokhkì's political statment focused walls has sufferd soem light damage, reducing its function a little in some spots, but could almsot certainly preform as expected... Though some of the worse spots could lead to the loss of defenders lives if attackers identified the weaknesses ahead of time.

A look around Fìkh Wěl Qokhkì is like a look into a broken heart which long ago fell to corruption. There is no planning, no organization. Everyone here clearly goes about their own thing with little thought to anyone around them who isn’t selling something they need… unless of course, they would be an easy target for some robbery. The town has truly fallen to evil.

Civic Infrastructure

Fìkh Wěl Qokhkì has an Office of Civil Groundskeeping, which works to enforce local ordinances relating to the construction and upkeep up of all plant life, water features, and other natural decorations within Fìkh Wěl Qokhkì. They are also responsible for the maintenance of these features. Notably, the OCG is not responsible for Fìkh Wěl Qokhkì's parks.

Fìkh Wěl Qokhkì has an Office of Civil Vicary, which is responsible for providing a livelyhood for all officialy recognised religious figures within Fìkh Wěl Qokhkì.

Fìkh Wěl Qokhkì has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain Fìkh Wěl Qokhkì's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.

Fìkh Wěl Qokhkì possesses an older civil lighting system consisting of street lamps. These lights provide nighttime illumination to most city streets.

Fìkh Wěl Qokhkì has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands. They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Fìkh Wěl Qokhkì's natural decorations nor waterways.

Fìkh Wěl Qokhkì has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.

Fìkh Wěl Qokhkì has a public septic system, which allows its citizens to have indoor bathrooms. The septic system is overseen by the League of Sewerkeepers, who posses the legal authority to enforce all laws relating to the septic system, and are also tasked with its maintenance and upkeep.

Cultural Notes

The locals have cut a deal with some unspeakable entity, trading some form of tribute (benign of horrific) in exchange for the being’s forbearance or assistance. Outsiders may be ignorant of the bargain, or they may know that the community is in thrall but be too fearful of its master to take action against them. The creature likely serves as a protector as well as a tyrant, so the locals may be content with the deal even if it doesn’t offer any further inducement or aid.

Fìkh Wěl Qokhkì's mayor's house was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is inspired by the natural world, characterized by sinuous, sculptural, organic shapes, arches, curving lines, and sensual ornamentation. Common motifs included stylized versions of leaves, flowers, vines, insects, animals, and other natural elements. Decorative elements found on the inside and outside of buildings include intricate mosaic work, curved windows, and decorative trim work. .

Due to the actions of local Kami, spring is short in Fìkh Wěl Qokhkì.

The Flowering Lattice near Fìkh Wěl Qokhkì are known to be almost tame, such that they can be put to domestic use.

Fìkh Wěl Qokhkì's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in summer and involves drinking to channel Mysticism energies of tier 2 via chanting.
